Root Loud is a 17-year-old, strategic, education-based firm. Root Loud has worked with more than 250 of the world’s leading companies in architecting corporate universities, sales strategies, people development, and strategy. To date, the company has developed or repurposed over 1,000 education-based, internet courses. Root Loud was founded by Mitch Smith.
Mitch has been a leader in corporate education and human resource systems since 1994 with the launch of his first interactive technology firm. From software design to process improvement, he has impacted organizations that include Aflac, Nike, Nokia, and Red Lobster. His strengths in corporate university design, operational and organizational alignment, repurposing large libraries of training to new mediums, and performance improvement solutions, enable Root Loud to drive improvement and bottom-line savings.
To date, Mitch has launched four successful technology companies (selling three of them) that included e-learning/e-marketing, learning management, performance management, and applicant tracking. In leading the Root Loud team, he is currently involved in a new venture with Mardel Bookstores, and Equip the Exec. Mitch is a published author and a graduate of The Citadel.
